Runnings Closing 99₵ Stores

Runnings will close its 99₵ Stores in Bismarck, North Dakota, and two South Dakota based 99₵ Stores in Watertown and Brookings sometime in the next several months. Plans are being made to use the vacated space to expand and merchandise more of its core brands and product lines within the main Runnings stores in each location. The 99₵ Stores closures will result in no job losses as store employees will be transitioned into the main stores.

Runnings Hosts Local TV Ad for Aberdeen Chamber

Runnings recently partnered with the Chamber of Commerce in Aberdeen, SD, to film a TV ad to promote local business. According to Dennis Dosch, Runnings Store Manager, “the commercial uses the Tin Man as its central figure in promoting Aberdeen as a destination for business, entertainment, food and fun.” A portion of the commercial was filmed using the Runnings store as the backdrop.
